Aims to establish a mass production technology of eel seedlings for self-sustained eel culture, we conduct research and development of artificial induction of maturation, good quality feed, breeding and larval rearing of Japanese eel.

Basic Technology Group

In order to make the basis of eel mass production, we are working on breeding physiology of parent fish, improvement of the larvae feed, rearing technique.
